FAQ
WHAT FOOD OPTIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE?
At last count, we had confirmed three food and/or coffee trucks available on-site – some are providing organic and natural options.
We welcome guests to bring their own food.
Limited BBQs and cookers, plus plenty of cups, and hot & cold drinking water will be available for use.
There will be no bar, but guests are welcome to bring a picnic dinner. Drunken behaviour is strongly discouraged, and will result in your being removed from the festival.
IS THERE ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE ON SITE?
On site camping costs $10 a day per adult (children under 14 are free). You can also arrange accommodation at the nearby Borland Lodge or elsewhere such as Manapouri and Tuatapere.
COVID-19 INFORMATION
We request that festival goers follow the latest COVID-19 guidelines. Please scan or sign in upon arrival at the festival as well. The event will be postponed or cancelled if a local COVID-19 lockdown comes back into force between December 31st and Jan 5th.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN HELPING?
The festival is evolving from the one we had in 2019. Anyone that wants to get involved with supplying food, healing, music or other services can contact us on facebook messenger or by email at tim@organic-rams.co.nz.
WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL LOCATED?
The festival will take place at Mangapiri Downs OrganicStud Farm® under the beautiful Takitimu mountains, halfway between the townships of Tuatapere and Manapouri. The address is 2576 Clifden Blackmount Road.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
We recommend that you bring chairs, water bottles, jackets, hats, and gumboots or old walking shoes with you to the festival.
You may also wish to bring cash, earplugs, sunscreen, sun umbrellas/shade tents, rain umbrellas, guitar, picnic rugs, chilly-bins, and yoga mats too – if you have them.
IS THERE EFTPOS?
PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
GO2 New Zealand tours are putting on a special minibus service from Te Anau via Manapouri for the Open Mic night. This has only been announced on 23Dec so is not full yet. However, with only 11 seats, get in quick, if you wish to be driven there and back. If there is enough interest, they may also do a Saturday afternoon and evening service so people can get to the Feature Artist Concert.
